Designed to Be Usable by All
This site is built with accessibility in mind. Pages use clear headings and landmarks so screen readers can move through them sensibly. Menus and forms can be operated from the keyboard. Images and icons carry text alternatives. Text is set at generous sizes with strong contrast against every background, and the site adapts to phones, tablets, and screen magnification. For visitors who prefer less movement, the site honors your device’s reduced-motion setting and turns its animations off.
Bulletins, Minutes, and Archives
Some of the documents on this site, such as older bulletins, newsletters, and vestry minutes, are PDF files, and a few of the oldest are scans that may not read well with a screen reader. If any document here is difficult for you to use, the parish office will gladly help you get its contents in a form that works for you.
Always Improving
Accessibility is not a box to check once. As pages are added and updated, we review them against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1, Level AA) as our working standard, and we fix problems as we find them or as they are reported to us.
If Something Is in Your Way
If any part of this site is hard for you to see, hear, navigate, or understand, please tell us so we can fix it. Contact the parish office at (865) 483-8497 or secretary@ststephensor.org, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Your experience matters to us, and reports like yours make the site better for everyone.
